2015 FORD F-150
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCrew trucks manufactured between January 22, 2015, and March 17, 2015, because the driver or front passenger seat belt anchorage assemblies may have a pretensioner cable that was not properly crimped. This defect means the seat belts may fail to properly restrain occupants during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. The affected vehicles do not meet federal safety standards for seat belt assemblies and anchorages.
Ford will notify owners of affected vehicles, and authorized Ford dealers will replace the driver and/or front passenger side seat belt retractor(s) and pretensioner(s) at no charge. Owners of potentially affected vehicles should contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall number 15C17 to determine if their truck is included in this recall and to schedule service.
