2016 RETRO TRAVEL TRAILER

  • Brand RETRO

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Riverside RV is recalling certain 2016 Retro Travel Trailers (models 177SE, 166, 195, and 509) manufactured between May 1 and July 31, 2015, that are equipped with Coker whitewall tires. These trailers have Tire and Loading labels displaying incorrect tire pressure information. If owners inflate the tires according to the incorrect pressure shown on the label, the tires may become overinflated, which could lead to a tire blowout and increase the risk of a crash.

Riverside has reprinted and sent corrected labels to owners and dealers at no charge, with the recall beginning on September 1, 2015. Owners of affected trailers should contact Riverside customer service at 1-260-499-4578 to obtain the corrected label.

Hazard

If an owner inflates the tires to the incorrect pressure listed on the label, the tire may be overinflated, and a tire blow out may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

What should I do?

Riverside has reprinted and sent the corrected labels to owners and dealers, free of charge. The recall began on September 1, 2015. Owners may contact Riverside customer service at 1-260-499-4578.
