2014 IC BUS AE; 2015 IC BUS AE
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Navistar is recalling certain 2014-2015 IC Bus AE school buses manufactured between February 14, 2013, and March 10, 2014. The vehicles have a defect in the HVAC system's linear power module (LPM), which controls the blower speed. If a double battery jump start or electrical load dump event occurs, it can cause an overvoltage condition in the LPM, potentially causing it to overheat and fail, which increases the risk of fire.
Navistar will notify owners and replace the defective LPM with an upgraded one at no charge. The recall began on June 17, 2015. Affected owners should contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825 and reference recall number 15510.
