Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2015 Eagle 30.5 BHLT fifth wheel trailers manufactured between March 13, 2014, and August 1, 2014, because the tire size information printed on the tire label is incorrect. If owners replace the trailer tires using the wrong size listed on the label, the trailer could become overloaded, which may cause poor handling or tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.
To remedy this issue, Jayco will send owners new labels with corrected tire information at no charge. The recall notification began on February 2, 2015. Owners of affected trailers should contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 and reference recall number 9901227 to receive the corrected labels.

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2015 Eagle 30.5 BHLT fifth wheel trailers manufactured March 13, 2014, to August 1, 2014. The affected trailers have incorrect tire size information on the tire label. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor Home/Recreation Vehicle Trailer Load Carrying Capacity Information for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or less."
