Jayco is recalling certain 2015 Eagle HT FW trailers (models P1, PN, PP, PR, PW, PX, PY, and PZ) manufactured between August 20, 2014, and October 27, 2014, because they contain incorrect weight calculations on the cargo carrying capacity label. This incorrect information could lead a vehicle operator to inadvertently overload the trailer, which may result in tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.
Owners of affected trailers should contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco will replace the certification label with a corrected label at no charge. The recall began on November 12, 2014, and the recall number is 9901226.

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2015 Eagle HT FW P1 PN PP PR PW PX PY and PZ trailers manufactured August 20, 2014, to October 27, 2014. The affected vehicles may have incorrect weight calculations on the cargo carrying capacity label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor Home/Recreation Vehicle Trailer Load Carrying Capacity Information for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or less."
