HENDERSON TORSION ARM ASSEMBLY

  • Brand HENDERSON

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Henderson Wheel & Trailer Supply Inc. is recalling certain torsion arm assemblies used in trailers, specifically part numbers B-7100A, B-7110A, HT-35XL, T35545EB, T35545I, T35550EB, T35550HB, T35550I, T35655EB, and T35655I that were manufactured between February 18, 2015 and August 25, 2015. The torsion arm in these assemblies was made too small for its housing, which can cause the torsion arm, spindle, tire, and wheel assemblies to separate from the trailer.

A separation of the torsion arm can result in loss of trailer stability and control, increasing the risk of a crash. Henderson Wheel will notify trailer manufacturers who used the affected axles, and those manufacturers will contact their customers to reinforce or replace the torsion arm assemblies free of charge. The recall began on August 15, 2014. Owners of affected trailers should contact Henderson Wheel customer service at 1-801-486-4916 for additional information.
