REV Recreation Group is recalling certain 2015 American Coach-brand motor homes (American Eagle, American Tradition, and American Revolution models) equipped with specific Villa ISS powered driver and passenger seats. The seat belt attachment on these seats may be installed incorrectly, and the seat belt webbing may fray where it rubs against a steel bracket, weakening the seat belt and potentially preventing it from properly restraining occupants in a crash.
Allied will notify owners of the recall, which began August 8, 2014. Dealers will reinstall the seat belts using new fasteners and will inspect the seat belt webbing for damage caused by incorrect installation, replacing it if necessary. All inspections and repairs will be performed at no cost. Owners of affected vehicles should contact American Coach customer service at 1-800-435-7345, and the recall reference number is 140615ARG.
