Fleetwood RV is recalling certain 2014 model year recreational vehicles including American Eagle, American Heritage, American Revolution, American Tradition, Bounder, Bounder Classic, Discovery, Excursion, Expedition, Providence, South Wind, Storm, Terra, Terra SE, Jamboree Searcher, Jamboree Sport, Tioga Montara, and Tioga Ranger models equipped with IMMI-brand L9 seat belt assemblies. The seat belt buckles in these vehicles may not fully release when the button is pressed, potentially leaving the latch plate partially engaged and making the seat belt difficult to unlatch, which could hinder a passenger's ability to exit the vehicle in an emergency.
Fleetwood will notify owners, and authorized dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt buckles at no charge. The recall began on January 17, 2014. Affected consumers should contact Fleetwood at 1-800-322-8216 or reference recall number 131112FRV.
