What happened

Etnyre and Co. is recalling certain model year 2012 asphalt tanker trailers, heavy haul trailers, and live bottom trailers manufactured between November 2010 and April 2011 that are equipped with Gunite Automatic Slack Adjusters. The slack adjusters have a defect in the iron casting that can cause inadequate structural integrity of the housing, which may crack under normal braking conditions and result in loss of braking capability.
