Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Buyers Products Company is recalling warning triangles with part numbers ERT10 (3 pack) and ERT01 (single piece) manufactured between March 2011 and June 2014. These triangles have an insufficiently rigid joint between the base and triangle and improper ballast filling, which can cause them to blow over in wind gusts from passing vehicles. When the triangles tip over, they fail to adequately warn other drivers of a stopped vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash and violating Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 125.

Buyers Products dealers began notifying owners on August 26, 2014, and will provide refunds for the recalled triangles. Affected consumers should contact Buyers Products customer service at 1-440-974-8888 to arrange the refund. The recall reference number is TSB-ERT10.
