Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Graco Children's Products is recalling certain rear-facing child restraints manufactured between July 2010 and May 2013, including models SnugRide, SnugRide Classic Connect, SnugRide 30, SnugRide 35, SnugRide Click Connect 40, and Aprica A30. The harness/crotch buckles on these seats may be difficult to unlatch, and in some cases the buckle becomes stuck in a latched condition so it cannot be opened by pressing the release button. This difficulty removing a child from the restraint increases the risk of injury during a vehicle crash, fire, or other emergency when a prompt exit from the vehicle is needed.
Graco will replace the buckle with a new design at no charge. The recall began on August 5, 2014. Additionally, Graco is conducting a consumer satisfaction campaign to provide replacement buckles at no cost for infant child restraints manufactured with AmSafe QT3 and Signature buckles for the useful life of the child restraint. Affected consumers should contact Graco at 1-877-766-7470, visit www.gracobucklerecall.com, email consumerservices@gracobaby.com, or email www.gracobucklerecall@gracobaby.com to determine if their model is covered and to arrange a replacement.
