2014 NISSAN TITAN
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Nissan is recalling certain 2014 model year Titan King Cab and Crew Cab pick-up trucks manufactured between August 27, 2013, and November 13, 2013. These vehicles have an incorrect Tire and Loading Information label that overstates the maximum load and passenger carrying capacity, causing the vehicles to fail to comply with federal safety standards.
If a vehicle is loaded to the capacity stated on the incorrect label, the tire load capacity may be exceeded, which could cause structural damage to the tire and lead to tire failure, potentially increasing the risk of a crash. According to the record, Nissan will notify owners and provide them with a correct label to install at no charge. Affected owners may contact Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.
