Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Porsche Cars North America is recalling certain 2014 model year Boxster, Boxster S, Cayman, Cayman S, and 911 Carrera vehicles manufactured between September 2, 2013, and September 23, 2013. These vehicles may have defective wiring harnesses in the passenger seat that can cause intermittent loss of electrical contact, which could deactivate the passenger seat frontal and knee airbags. If an airbag fails to deploy during a crash, this increases the risk of injury to the front passenger.
Porsche will notify affected owners, and authorized Porsche dealers will replace the front passenger seat at no cost. The recall began on December 11, 2013. Owners of potentially affected vehicles should contact Porsche at 1-770-290-3500 and reference recall number AD04 to determine if their vehicle is included in this recall.
