What happened

Michelin North America is recalling certain Michelin LTX M/S tires in size LT225/75R16 115/112R LRE that were manufactured between January 10, 2010, and June 23, 2012. These tires were supplied as original equipment on certain Ford vehicles and as replacement equipment on various commercial light trucks, full-sized heavy duty vans, small RVs, and some large pickup trucks. The tires could experience tread separation, which can lead to rapid air loss and potential loss of vehicle control, increasing crash risk.
