What happened

Fleetwood RV is recalling certain motorhomes because the entry step may collapse during use and cause personal injury. The recall affects 2010 and 2011 Encounter vehicles manufactured from November 19, 2009, through May 13, 2010; 2011-2013 Storm vehicles manufactured from May 21, 2010, through September 18, 2012; and 2012 Terra vehicles manufactured from April 26, 2011, through March 13, 2012. The entry step lacks sufficient structural support and can become damaged through repeated use.

Affected owners will be notified by Fleetwood RV, and dealers will inspect and reinforce the step structural support as necessary. Owners may contact Fleetwood RV Owner Relations at 1-800-509-3418 for more information about the recall.
