2013 CHEVROLET SONIC
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
General Motors is recalling certain 2013 Chevrolet Sonic vehicles manufactured between May 29, 2012, and August 29, 2012. In these vehicles, when a turn signal lamp fails, the Body Control Module does not detect the problem or alert the driver. This means a driver may not realize the turn signal is broken and continue driving without it, preventing other drivers from knowing the vehicle is turning and increasing the risk of a crash.
GM will notify owners of affected vehicles, and authorized dealers will reprogram the Body Control Module and the vehicle's key fobs at no charge. The recall began on October 3, 2012. Owners of affected vehicles should contact the Chevrolet owner center at 1-866-694-6546.
