Is my product affected?

2013 BLUE BIRD ALL AMERICAN; 2013 BLUE BIRD VISION

  • Brand BLUE BIRD

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

Blue Bird is recalling model year 2013 All American and Vision school buses manufactured between April 30, 2012, and June 23, 2012. The driver's seat belts on these buses may have been installed with mismatched buckles that do not meet federal safety standards. When mismatched buckles are used together, the latch plate may not properly engage with the buckle receiver, which means the seat belt may not properly restrain an occupant in an accident or sudden stop.

Blue Bird will notify owners and dealers will repair the buses at no charge. Owners may contact Blue Bird at 1-478-822-2242 for more information. The recall began on August 23, 2012.
