2013 SCION FR-S
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Toyota is recalling certain 2013 Scion FR-S vehicles manufactured between March 22, 2012, and May 14, 2012, because their owners manuals contain inaccurate information about how the front passenger occupant classification system operates and lack sufficient clarity about the airbag system. Following the inaccurate manual information could increase the risk of injury to a front passenger seat occupant during certain crash conditions and causes the vehicles to fail to comply with federal safety standards.
Toyota will notify owners and mail corrected manual inserts free of charge. The recall began on July 3, 2012. Affected owners should contact Toyota at 1-866-707-2466.
