Honda is recalling certain ST1300, ST1300A, and ST1300PA motorcycles from model years 2008 through 2010 due to a defect in the rear brake reservoir hose. When the rear suspension is repeatedly fully compressed, the hose may become damaged and leak brake fluid, causing the rider to lose rear brake performance or function and increasing the risk of a crash.
Honda dealers will replace the rear brake reservoir hose free of charge. Owners of affected motorcycles should contact Honda at 1-800-999-1009 to arrange for the repair.
