What happened

Kandi USA Inc. is recalling certain Kandi vehicles due to missing rear side reflectors. The affected vehicles include model year 2008-2010 KDO8E vehicles manufactured between October 1, 2007, and May 1, 2011, and model year 2010 KD18E vehicles manufactured between March 3, 2010, and May 17, 2011. These vehicles lack the rear side reflectors required by federal safety standards, which could reduce vehicle visibility and increase the risk of crashes.

To remedy this issue, dealers will install the required reflectors at no cost to owners. The recall was expected to begin in November 2011. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Kandi at 1-909-941-4588.
