Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Meritor, Inc. is recalling certain MC16 and MC16 Type tag axle assemblies that were shipped to Motor Coach Industries between October 21, 2010, and December 6, 2010, for use on recreational vehicles. The bolts connecting the axle housing to the spindle may not have been properly heat treated, which could reduce their hardness and strength, potentially compromising the joint integrity of the axle.
According to the recall notice, reduced joint strength of the axle spindle could result in a vehicle crash. Affected consumers should contact ArvinMeritor at 1-248-435-1725. The company is working with Motor Coach Industries to identify and notify owners, and repairs will be performed free of charge.
