Showtime Conversions is recalling certain recreational vehicles and trailers from model years 1999 through 2007, including Showhauler, Classic Car, Wildside, and Showtime Horse models, that are equipped with 1200-series Norcold refrigerators. These refrigerators contain either a sensing algorithm or thermal switch designed to shut off power when high temperatures are detected due to a possible hydrogen gas leak. The problem is that these devices do not respond quickly enough to prevent a potential fire.
Showtime is working with Norcold to identify and notify affected owners. Owners who are notified will be instructed to contact Norcold dealers to receive the remedy at no charge. Owners can contact Norcold at 1-800-767-9101 or Showtime Conversions at 1-574-534-8340 for more information.
