What happened

Volvo Car USA is recalling certain 2010 model year XC70 vehicles manufactured between December 5, 2006 and October 1, 2009. These vehicles fail to comply with federal safety standards because the FMVSS label, tire and loading information label, and owner's manual contain incorrect maximum permissible tire inflation pressure information.

To remedy this issue, Volvo retailers will update the vehicles at no charge by installing a new FMVSS label, tire and loading information label, and TPMS software, as well as applying a label with correct maximum tire pressure information to the owner's manual. The recall began on June 14, 2010. Affected owners should contact Volvo at 1-800-458-1552.
