What happened

Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2010 model year Sightseer D33C, Vista E30W, and Itasca Sunova D33C and Sunstar E30W motor homes manufactured between July 16, 2009 and January 14, 2010. These vehicles contain wiring from an incomplete 120-volt circuit that may become energized. The wire assembly was installed for an optional feature that was not ordered or installed on the vehicles. The connector at the end of this circuit is uncovered, creating an opening where someone could contact an energized conductor and suffer an electrical shock.

Touching this exposed connector may result in electrical shock, potentially causing serious personal injury or death. Dealers will install the missing conductors and receptacle at no charge to owners. The safety recall began on March 3, 2010. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Winnebago at 641-585-6939.
