2010 JAYCO INSIGNIA
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Jayco is recalling certain 2010 Insignia motor homes built on Freightliner chassis between October 14, 2009 and January 15, 2010 that are equipped with Kongsberg Power Products Systems adjustable brake pedals. The drive pin that secures the brake pedal arm may become disengaged, which could reduce braking capability or cause the brake pedal to interfere with throttle pedal operation, potentially resulting in a vehicle crash.
The recalled units are currently in dealer inventory and have not been sold to consumers, so Jayco will not be sending owner letters. Instead, dealers will receive kits to inspect the vehicles and install a C-clamp on the adjustable brake pedal. Consumers with questions can contact Jayco at 1-800-283-8267.
