Sanrio/Hamee squeezable toys ("squishies") shaped like baby animal characters have been recalled due to a choking hazard. Small parts can easily detach from the toys, which could be placed in a child's mouth and cause choking. The products do not meet safety requirements under the Toy Safety Directive and European standard EN 71-1. The recalled items are approximately 7cm x 7cm x 4.5cm, feature a ball chain attached to the top, and include Hello Kitty, Keroppi, My Melody, Pompompurin, and Tuxedo Sam models (all model SIL-34688), sold online in transparent plastic packaging.
