Is my product affected?

Motorcycle

  • Brand MV AGUSTA

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

MV AGUSTA motorcycles produced between December 18, 2013 and March 10, 2014 may have a defective swing arm pin fixing screw that could break during normal tightening. The affected models are the Brutale (675, 800, 800 Dragster, 1090, R, RR, and RR Corsa), F3 (675 and 800), and F4 (RR, R, and Corsa), identified by specific chassis number ranges. If the screw breaks, it could cause the swing arm pin to fail, potentially resulting in a loss of vehicle control and a road accident.

A recall of these motorcycles from end users was initiated effective April 15, 2014. The source document does not specify what remedy or corrective action affected consumers should take.
