Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Nintendo Wii U consoles were supplied with a white plug adapter (model PC 9906) designed to connect European outlets to UK-style sockets. The adapter was not manufactured by Nintendo but by an unknown third party and was included in product packaging without Nintendo's knowledge or consent. The adapter's pins are too small, making insertion into Swedish socket outlets difficult. The adapter can become partially disconnected due to external influence, resulting in poor electrical connection and heat production. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and relevant national standards.
As of January 29, 2014, the product has been banned from marketing in Sweden. The record does not specify what affected consumers should do regarding their existing units.
