Sylvania is recalling certain LED spotlights sold under the model name Start Track Spot Integral due to a safety hazard in the hinged bracket that adjusts the position of the light head. The bracket has sharp edges that can trap and cut the live and neutral power cables, potentially exposing live electrical parts and creating a risk of electric shock if a user touches the metal housing of the product. The affected models are the black versions numbered 0005423, 0005425, 0005427, 0005429, 0005431, and 0005433, and the white versions numbered 0005422, 0005424, 0005426, 0005428, 0005430, and 0005432.
The manufacturer has initiated a recall effective March 12, 2020, and has also withdrawn the product from the market as of the same date. The record does not specify what actions affected consumers should take to return or remedy the product.

The hinged bracket adjusting the position of the head of the product has sharp edges and can trap the live and neutral cables. The user could touch accessible live parts, increasing the risk electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
