What happened

DMM's Dragon Cam 6, a spring-loaded camming device used for rock climbing protection in silver/grey color, is subject to a voluntary recall due to a structural defect in the axle boss component. The defective raw material used in this component can develop cracks that worsen over time, causing the product to fail below its rated strength and creating an injury risk. Approximately 604 units manufactured between April 28 and June 30, 2010 are affected. The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment Directive.
