The "PUZZLE INTEREST - The elephant with puzzle blocks" pull-along toy by LISTA (Model MT-20099, EAN 5907664207408) has been recalled due to sharp edges around the puzzle holes and on the puzzle blocks themselves. The toy, which features a yellow plastic elephant on pink wheels with eight colorful puzzle blocks shaped like various animals, does not meet safety requirements under the Toys Directive and European standard EN 71. The sharp edges pose a risk of injury to children.
The recalled product was stopped at customs and rejected from import, so it should not be available for purchase in stores. The recall notice does not specify what action consumers who may already possess this toy should take.

A toy elephant made of yellow coloured plastic, on pink wheels, with a yellow cord for pulling the toy along. On the side of the toy are different shaped holes and the elephant contains eight colourful puzzle blocks to match the holes, in the shape of different mammals and sea creatures coloured: pink, violet, yellow, orange and green. Underneath the toy there is a flap to remove blocks from the toy – coloured violet. With the toy there is a tag with a CE mark and the following markings: “Unsuitable for children under 3 years old”, name and address of the importer, CE mark. There is also a warning about the risk of swallowing small parts and about necessity of storing the packaging as it contains useful information. Model: MT – 20099.
