Sirius brand recessed lights (LightStyle) sold under model names Jupiter chrome, Uran gold, Mars chrome, and Mars white are being recalled due to a fire hazard. The products use halogen lamp-holders designed for low voltage that are identical to holders meant for high voltage (220V-240V) fixtures, creating a risk that incompatible lamps could be installed, potentially causing fire. The affected models are identified by part numbers 017773, 017703, 017523, 017515, and 017525, and come packaged with 50W halogen lamps rated for 220V-240V operation.

The product poses a risk of fire because the halogen lamp-holder for 220V is identical to lamp-holders intended for extra low voltage (≤50 V). Lamp-holders initially intended for extra low voltage should not be used for light fixtures intended for use with tungsten halogen lamps with a voltage higher than 50 V. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 60598.
