Novelty lighters
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
Two novelty lighters designed to look like consumer products—one resembling a chocolate bar and one resembling a pack of chewing gum—have been recalled due to burn and fire hazards. Both lighters are filled with gas and can be easily activated by a lever, making them particularly dangerous to children under 51 months of age. The products do not comply with European regulations prohibiting novelty lighters from being sold.
The retailer has voluntarily stopped selling these products and is withdrawing them from the market. The recall source does not specify what affected consumers should do to return or dispose of the lighters.
