Aqua massage bath sponges shaped like animals and fish are being recalled because they pose a choking hazard to children. The sponges, made of polyurethane foam and sold under the "Be Free" brand, have plastic balls attached as eyes and other small polyurethane parts that can be easily detached and swallowed. The products come in various colors including yellow, blue, orange, pink, green, and white, and were manufactured in China. Although the packaging states the product is not a child's toy and should not be given to children, the sponges do not meet the Toys Directive or European safety standard EN 71.
