The KEHEIDA LED economic night light, a butterfly-shaped plastic device with three colored diodes that plugs directly into a wall socket, has been recalled due to fire risk. The product is made of heat and fire-resistant materials that do not meet safety requirements for lighting equipment and fails to comply with the Low Voltage Directive and European standard EN 60598.
The distributor has issued a press release and is voluntarily withdrawing the product from the market and recalling units from consumers. The recall was notified by Slovakia. The source does not specify what actions affected consumers should take.

Lighting equipment is made of plastic, has shape of butterfly and has not got a cable. After plugging in the front side is illuminated by 3 coloured diodes. On the part which goes to the wall socket there is the notice: KEHEIDA and data: 220V- 120 V, 50-60 Hz, 0,3W. The wrapping is the cardboard label on which there is pressed plastic shaped transparent cover.
