The Vicky doll (Ra Konrad, Item 8328, EAN 4020972083289), a 40 cm doll with brown woollen hair, checked blouse, blue dungarees, and burgundy shoes, has been recalled due to banned azo dyes found in multiple components. The current model (since approximately 2006) contains banned azo dyes 4-aminoazobenzene in the hair and sensitizing dye dispersion orange 37/76 in the shoes. The older model from 2005 contains banned azo dyes in the rucksack (3,3'-dimethoxybenzidine) and hair (p-aminoazobenzene and Disperse Yellow 23). These chemical restrictions do not comply with the Chemicals Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC.
