This recall involves eleven models of mini motorbikes and quad bikes manufactured by YONGKANG MTL METAL PRODUCTS (models 1-9) and ZHENJIANG SHENGQI MOTION APPARATUS CO. (models 10-11). The vehicles pose serious injury risks due to multiple safety defects, including inadequate welds, missing or non-functional emergency shutoff systems, sharp edges, improperly secured handlebars, fuel lines positioned too close to engines with unsuitable clips, lack of proper braking systems (some models have only one brake), chain guard entry points that expose riders to injury, and absence of operating instructions. Additional hazards include loose cables and electrical wiring, poor seat ergonomic design, missing key switches or ignition systems, pinch points, and risks of burns from hot engine surfaces.
