The product contains drawstrings in the neck area of the hood, which violates safety standards for children aged birth to 7 years that prohibit such drawstrings. Additionally, the drawstrings in the waist area have free ends that extend more than 140 millimeters, exceeding the maximum safe length of 140 millimeters per end when the garment is fully opened and laid flat.

The products do not comply with the relevant European standard EN 14682, according to which garments intended for young children aged from birth to age 7 years “shall not be designed, manufactured or supplied with drawstrings, functional cords or decorative cords in the hood or neck area”; - injuries due to the presence of drawstrings in the waist area with free ends that protrude by more than 140 mm (measured 180 mm). The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 14682, according to which free ends of drawstrings in the waist area shall protrude by a maximum of 140 mm at each end when the garment is opened to its largest and laid flat.
