RC2 has recalled various Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway toys produced between January 2005 and April 2007 because surface paints on these products contain excessive levels of migratable lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. The recall involves 22 different types of wooden vehicles, buildings, and train set components. Affected products display the "Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway" logo on the upper left-hand corner of the packaging.
