A set of two soft plastic ponies called Sweet Pony has been recalled due to prohibited chemical content. The set contains a light blue larger pony and a white smaller pony, each with colored manes and tails, packaged in a pink cardboard box. Testing found that the blue pony contains 31% DEHP in its head and 26% in its trunk, while the white pony contains 31% DEHP by weight. These levels of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate violate Chemical Restrictions Directive 76/769/EEC, which prohibits certain phthalates in toys. The product is identified by EAN 5903696687126 and model MK 3696687, was made in China, and was notified by Poland.

On the cardboard there is a tag with a CE mark, pictogram concerning age 0-3 restriction, the name and address of the importer, “Made in China” and the warning: “Product not suitable for children below 3 years”.
