Casa brand bedspreads and cushion covers have been recalled due to a chemical safety issue. The products contain azo dyes that release benzidine, an aromatic amine, at levels of 210 mg/kg, 130 mg/kg, and 200 mg/kg respectively, and do not comply with REACH Regulation requirements. The affected items include two cotton bedspreads (each 150 x 250 cm) with green/grey striping paired with either turquoise or pink and beige stripes (model 3041011001), and one cotton cushion cover (50 x 50 cm) with green/grey, pink, and beige stripes (model 3036081001).
