Toaster

  • Brand ARIETE

Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.

What happened

The ARIETE 2-slice toaster, a Disney-branded Mickey Mouse model (Type 116, P.N. 0D011600AR0), poses risks of electric shock and burns. The internal wires can be damaged by burrs inside the appliance, which may compromise the insulation. Because the toaster features Mickey Mouse designs and appeals to children, this hazard is particularly concerning. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive or the European standard EN 60335.

The manufacturer has voluntarily withdrawn the product from the market. The recall notice does not specify what action affected consumers should take with their toasters.
