Imitation firearms containing Class 3B laser devices have been recalled because the lasers pose a risk of damage to human sight. Prolonged exposure to moderate levels of laser light from these devices may cause irreversible changes to the eye, particularly in the retina and crystalline lens. The affected products do not comply with the relevant European safety standard EN 60825. Ten models are included in this recall: Model 2018 long firearm with laser, Model M4 ELECTRICO with sight and blue lamp, Model M16 with laser/sight/lamp/goggles, Model M41 with sight, Model M41K1 with sight, Model M43 pistol with silencer, Model MP5SD5 ELECTRICO single action, Model MR744 with Red Dot, Model MR77 with sight, and Model P198 pistol with silencer. These products are packaged in cardboard boxes bearing photographs of the firearm models.
