A cable reel model B10/EX-10m manufactured by GLOBE has been recalled due to fire hazard risks. The product features four dark blue socket outlets and a white and red power switch with a 10-meter cable, housed in a black plastic cover box with a handle. The hazard exists because the wire's cross-sectional area is too small and the diameter of the indentation in the cable created by the ball terminal is 2.9 mm when the maximum allowable is 2 mm. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and European standard EN 61242.
