Two types of white-colored light chains with 300 lights and one green-colored light chain with 300 lights have been recalled due to electric shock hazards. The problems include inadequate cable insulation and thickness, undersized plug pins and bases that don't meet safety requirements, and missing cord anchorage. These products do not comply with European electrical safety standards.

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- there is no double-insulation cable with different colour, - the cross-sectional area of the wiring (0.11 mm2) does not comply with the requirements (min. acceptable 0.5 mm2),- the pins of the plug are shorter (18.30 mm) than required (acceptable 19.00 ± 0.50 mm), - the width of the plug base is 12.28 mm (min. acceptable 13.70 ± 0.70 mm) (item 1),- the width of the plug base is 12.34 mm (min. acceptable 13.70 ± 0.70 mm) (item 2),- there is no supply cord anchorage,The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
