What happened

SI TECH Shell Inflation Valves with International Nipples used in diving dry suits are being recalled because an internal part can malfunction during use, causing the valve to lose inflation capability and thermal protection. This malfunction creates a risk of hypothermia to divers. The recalled valves are identified by model numbers 25210 or 25215 with specific batch codes stamped inside the valve; consumers can find instructions for identifying the batch code at www.sitech.se.

Consumers who have a recalled valve should stop using their dry suits immediately and contact Ocean Equipment to receive a notification form and shipping information for returning the valve at no charge. Trained technicians authorized by the manufacturer will replace the recalled valve with a free replacement part.
