BRP is recalling 2022 Ski-Doo snowmobiles in five models: Expedition, Grand Touring, Renegade, Skandic, and Tundra, each available with either 600 ACE or 900 ACE engines. The vehicles have a defective speedometer that displays half of the snowmobile's actual speed, which can cause riders to lose control and crash.
According to the recall notice, consumers who own affected snowmobiles should immediately stop using them and contact a Ski-Doo dealer. BRP will provide a free repair that involves updating the engine control module, and the company is contacting all known purchasers directly to arrange this service with dealers.

This recall involves Ski-Doo 2022 Expedition, Grand Touring, Renegade, Skandic and Tundra snowmobiles. The vehicles were sold in a variety of colors. Ski-Doo and the model name are printed on the side panels of the vehicles. The vehicle identification number (VIN) is on the decal located on the right-hand side of tunnel underneath the seat.
