Battat is recalling the Toulouse-LapTrec magnetic sketchboard due to a choking hazard. The magnetic tip of the drawing pen can detach from the pen itself. The recalled product is a sketchboard with a white plastic writing surface bordered by either a red or brown plastic frame and a bean bag-type backing. The front features four animal shapes—a rabbit, dog, cat, and duck—across the top, along with a multicolored magnetic pen. The model number BX1026 applies to versions with a red frame, while BX1027 applies to versions with a brown frame. These model numbers are printed on a paper wrapper that comes with the product.
Consumers who have this sketchboard should immediately remove it from children's access. To resolve the issue, affected consumers should contact Battat to receive a free replacement sketchboard.
