Hampton Bay 54-inch Mara Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fans
Check against the official notice below — it lists the full affected range.
King of Fans is recalling Hampton Bay Mara 54-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fans sold exclusively at Home Depot because the blades can detach while the fan is running, creating an injury risk. The recalled fans come in four finishes (matte white, matte black, black, and polished nickel) and include a white color-changing LED light and remote control. The specific models can be identified by UPC numbers printed on a silver rating label on top of the fan housing.
Consumers who own these fans should stop using them immediately and inspect the fan using instructions available at www.kingoffans.com/MaraRecall.htm or via a QR code in the recall press release. If inspection reveals blade movement, uneven gaps between the blades and fan body, or movement of the clip, consumers should contact King of Fans for a free replacement fan.
