DaVinci has recalled its wooden Bailey Bassinets for infants because the mattress support can become disengaged, which creates fall and entrapment hazards for babies. The recalled bassinets come in four colors—gray (M0934G), espresso (M0934E), natural (M0934N), and white (M0934W)—and have the model number "0934" printed on a white label attached to the mattress support board and on the external packaging. The assembled bassinets measure 38 inches long by 20 inches wide by 30 inches high and weigh approximately 21 pounds.
Consumers who own a recalled bassinet should immediately stop using it and contact DaVinci for a free repair kit to reinforce the mattress support. Until the repair is completed, parents should move their child to an alternate safe sleeping environment, such as a crib that meets current safety standards.
